In mid-2020, at the invitation of Alibaba’s Design Department, TEA Community visited Alibaba's Hangzhou headquarters to deliver a specialized lecture on interactive new media technology.

Marking the first time Alibaba Design invited a team from the interactive media sector, the event also featured deep discussions regarding future creative collaborations. The two-hour lecture drew an enthusiastic audience of nearly 1,000 Alibaba designers and tech professionals, both on-site and via live stream.
