Performance / Forum / Online Exhibition / Workshop
FLARE aims to leverage international academic resources by inviting independent artists and creative collectives from around the world to collaborate, providing internationalized artistic content for the locations where events take place, producing and interpreting new media art and commercial value, and initiating discussions on new media–related topics. Together with participants, it explores the possibilities of the industry and points the way forward for the future development of new media. It also operates the TEA new media education community, providing TouchDesigner teaching and training resources.
Atomic Visual Studio / Wang Meng + Yu Miao
"Wang Meng + Yu Miao" is a music and new media duo featuring artist Wang Meng and guzheng virtuoso Yu Miao. Combining acoustic performance with electronic soundscapes and visual art, they explore the intersection of humanity and the digital realm.

Wang Meng: New media artist, filmmaker, and founder of Radiant Visual Studio, known for stage multimedia design across music and contemporary theater.

Yu Miao: Classically trained guzheng player recognized for her innovative fusion of traditional Chinese music, Western improvisation, and contemporary styles.
EAU is an audio-visual project founded in Lyon, France (2014) by musician Wang Yi in collaboration with various visual artists. Named after the French word for "water" to reflect fluidity and shifting thought, the project delivers calm, multi-dimensional audio-visual experiences that blend aesthetic beauty with deep artistic value.

GOOOOOSE / Han Han
Gooooose is the Shanghai-based solo music project of Han Han—frontman of Duck Fight Goose, founder of Miniless, and software developer. His music bridges ambient textures, synthesizer soundscapes, and IDM beats to explore the subtle connection between human and machine.

Han Han: Electronic musician and visual/software developer who blends contrasting genres into harmonious soundscapes. A seasoned international performer, he has toured widely across Europe and the US, including appearances at Berlin’s Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Paris’s Cité de la Musique, and SXSW.
Wang Changcun (performing as AYRTBH) is a Shanghai/Hangzhou-based sound artist, software developer, and pioneer of Chinese experimental electronic music and computer programming. His diverse body of work encompasses audio albums, internet art, iOS apps, and interactive audio-visual installations.

Key Releases & Labels: Has released music on international labels including Sub Rosa, Post-Concrete, Detroit Underground (MTK, 2017), and Indie Works (Song of Anonymity, 2018).

Recognition & Exhibitions: Featured in landmark compilations like Anthology of Chinese Experimental Music, and co-presented the two-person exhibition The Sensation of Logic at the 2019 OCAT Biennale in Shenzhen.

FLARE NEW MEDIA INDUSTRY FORUM
In August 2019, the TouchDesigner China Community officially became an authorized community certified by Derivative. Moving forward, the China TEA Education Community will take charge of all promotional and training operations for TouchDesigner within China. A wider array of community development initiatives and global university academic partnerships will be announced at the conference, alongside the most major and exciting news since the founding of the TouchDesigner China Community. The forum will serve as a valuable platform for communication and networking among industry professionals, educators, new media enthusiasts, artists, and designers.
